Step 6, Work stage 5. Unsound concrete is sawcut and removed without damaging retained reinforcement. We clean or replace bars as detailed, install dowels and additional steel, prepare saturated surface-dry concrete where required, place repair concrete or form-and-pump material, and cure it before load transfer.
Step 7, Work stage 6. Exterior repairs finish with compatible crack treatment, waterproofing, drainage board, footing drains or outlet corrections, free-draining backfill, and compacted lifts. Interior injection is used only where the crack condition and access make it the correct treatment rather than a substitute for exterior water management.
